Marc Beuk has been familiar with the Benalmádena area in sunny Andalusia since the late 1990s. With the purchase of a lovely family apartment at the renowned Torrequebrada golf course, the ‘first stone’ was literally laid for a wonderful base for holidays. From the early 2000s onwards, Marevista Real Estate B.V., founded by Marc, was active for many years as an estate agency serving the Dutch, Scandinavian and British markets. At the time, the portfolio of holiday properties in southern Spain was soon expanded with recreational real estate in the well-known Turkish resorts of Alanya, Bodrum and Fethiye. In addition to his work in international real estate, Marc was also closely involved with the Dutch family business 'Koninklijke Beuk' in Noordwijk. Having lived and worked in several Spanish-speaking countries, Marc’s knowledge of the Spanish language is an important added value.
Patricia Beuk-Volkers worked in the Netherlands for many years as a sales professional in financial services and insurance. Over the past 10 years, she worked as an office manager and was jointly responsible for financial administration, customer management and personnel matters within a manufacturing company. Both Patricia and Marc have always had a great passion for beautiful Spain. Eventually, the desire to return to the Costa del Sol became increasingly stronger. Marc and Patricia are now once again active with Marevista Estates as buying and selling estate agents from the familiar surroundings of Benalmádena. Together with a team of external experts in the fields of legal, tax and mortgage matters, they guide their clients throughout the entire purchase and sale process.
Marc: “Advising and guiding our clients in their search for and purchase of that one specific ‘dream home’ is a challenging yet rewarding service, often resulting in the development of wonderful and special friendships.
It is always a matter of finding the right balance in accurately identifying people’s specific requirements before selecting suitable properties to view together. A practical city apartment is simply very different from a family home on a golf course. Living by the beach also offers a completely different experience compared to residing in a rustic finca in the countryside. After all, no two people are the same, and the same applies to their preferences when it comes to a (holiday) property abroad.

Patricia: “As an organisational and administrative all-rounder with a down-to-earth and positive personality, I am well equipped to deal with the Spanish way of working, which is often different from what we are used to. We do not only say what we do, but also do what we say; after all, a commitment is a commitment, and mañana really does mean mañana!
In addition to my work in real estate, I also enjoy the pleasant climate, Spanish cuisine, the hospitality and, of course, the beautiful nature that Andalusia has to offer. Whenever time allows, I enjoy taking part in organised walking tours through the rugged yet stunning countryside, with breathtaking views and culinary surprises in authentic local restaurants.
Through our work and the interaction with our clients, a personal connection often develops, which is why I regularly invite them to join me for a walk. Relaxed, enjoyable and always great fun! Social life here mainly takes place outdoors, and locals are always happy to make time for meeting family and friends, often while enjoying a glass of wine and a homemade tapa. In that respect, we have already become well integrated here. All in all, these are the right ingredients for us to create that ‘home away from home’ feeling.
